  3. Help with File Transfer Protocols:
  4.  
  5. <X>modem:             This is the original protocol developed for single
  6.                       file transfers on Personal Computers.  Use this only
  7.                       if you do not have any one of the other protocols.
  8.                       It will automatically determine if you are using CRC
  9.                       error correction.
  10.  
  11. <Y>modem CRC          This is Chuck Foresburg's Ymodem protocol, this is
  12.                       much faster than Xmodem and provides CRC error
  13.                       correction scheme.
  14.  
  15. <W>indowed Xmodem:    This is a protocol designed by Peter Boswell, many
  16.                       communications programs such as Procomm and GT
  17.                       PowerComm support this method of file transfer.
  18.  
  19. <S>EAlink:            This is System Enhancements Associates protocol,
  20.                       it is much faster than Xmodem and provides a smooth
  21.                       transfer.  This protocol also allows you to send one
  22.                       or more files at a time, wildcard filenames are
  23.                       supported.

  25. <Z>modem:             This is yet another protocol developed by Chuck
  26.                       Foresburg.  It is the fastest PC-to-PC protocol
  27.                       ever developed.
